Luke Littler
Luke Littler has taken the PDC by storm since emerging as a teenage prodigy. At just 16, he became the youngest player to win a match at the World Championship, averaging 106.12 on debut (which is still a record) before reaching the final. His debut season as a Tour Card holder in 2024 saw him win the Premier League, Grand Slam of Darts and World Series of Darts Finals, before lifting the 2025 world title at 17 – becoming the youngest world champion in history. That campaign featured a record 140.91 set average against Ryan Meikle. Littler added the UK Open, World Matchplay and Players Championship Finals to his collection of majors in 2025 whilst also retaining the Grand Slam of Darts and the World Championship, pocketing the first ever £1 million prize and cementing himself already as one of the game’s greatest ever players.

Luke Humphries
“Cool Hand” Luke Humphries announced himself as a rising star by winning the 2019 World Youth Championship and reaching the PDC World Championship quarter-finals in the same year. His career gained further momentum after a weight-loss journey in 2021, leading to a breakout 2022 season where he claimed four European Tour titles. Humphries’ first televised major came at the 2023 World Grand Prix in Leicester. He went on to lift the 2024 PDC World Championship, defeating 16-year-old Luke Littler 7–4 in the final, before adding the World Matchplay and Players Championship Finals titles later that year. In 2025, he secured the World Masters and Premier League crowns, to firmly establish himself as a legend of the sport.

Gerwyn Price
Gerwyn Price, “The Iceman,” has been one of the PDC’s dominant players since switching to darts from professional rugby in 2014. Known for his passionate celebrations, scoring power, and double top hitting, the Welshman claimed back-to-back Grand Slam of Darts titles in 2018 and 2019 before lifting the 2020 World Grand Prix behind closed doors during Covid lockdown. He reached the pinnacle in 2021 by winning the PDC World Championship (also behind closed doors) defeating Gary Anderson 7–3 in the final and moving into the world number one spot which he held for more than a year. Price is one of the few players to throw multiple televised nine-darters, including two in one night during the 2022 Premier League in Belfast. With more than 40 PDC titles, Price is the most successful Welsh player in history and remains a constant major contender.

Wessel Nijman
Wessel Nijman first broke through on the PDC Development Tour, winning multiple titles and establishing himself as one of the sport’s brightest young prospects. In 2020, Nijman admitted to match-fixing during a Modus Live League event, and consequently served a two-and-a-half-year ban. Since returning to the sport he has worked to rebuild his career and reputation, combining resilience with his natural scoring ability to climb the PDC Order of Merit. Nijman claimed his first senior PDC title in 2024 at Players Championship 24 in Wigan, defeating Stephen Bunting 8–5 in the final and underlining an expectation that he will compete among the game’s elite for many years to come.

Luke Woodhouse
Luke Woodhouse, nicknamed “Woody,” has emerged as a force to be reckoned with on the PDC circuit. Having earned his Tour Card in 2018, he has become a consistent performer across both the Pro Tour and televised majors. Woodhouse made his first major quarter-final appearance at the 2021 UK Open, before reaching his first PDC ranking final in 2023. The following year, he enjoyed a breakthrough run to the semi-finals of the 2024 European Championship, his career highlight to date. He backed this up in 2025 with a run to the last 16 at the PDC World Darts Championship where he took the scalps of Mike De Decker and Damon Heta. Kevin Doets
Kevin Doets, nicknamed “Hawk Eye,” is a graduate of the PDC Development Tour and earned his Tour Card in 2022. The Dutchman quickly showed his potential with consistent performances on the Pro Tour and a breakthrough on the televised stage came at the 2023 UK Open where he enjoyed a fine run to the fifth round. A further illustration of Doets’ talents came at the 2024 World Series of Darts Finals in Amsterdam where he produced a stunning 109.98 televised average in a 6–0 demolition of Keane Barry. He then defeated world number two and former World Champion Michael Smith at the World Championship. With a silky-smooth action, composure and scoring power, Doets has the potential to compete at the sharp end of the game for many years to come.

Michael van Gerwen
Michael van Gerwen, “Mighty Mike,” is one of darts’ most dominant forces. A teenage prodigy, he won the World Masters in the BDO at 17 before switching to the PDC. His breakthrough came when winning the 2012 World Grand Prix and, since then, he has collected more than 150 PDC titles including three PDC World Championships (2014, 2017, 2019). Spending an world record seven consecutive years as world number one, van Gerwen has the most Players Championship Finals victories (seven) and has won the World Grand Prix six times, the European Championship four times, and the World Masters five times. His power scoring has produced iconic records, including the highest PDC World Championship average (114.05 in 2017) and the highest televised average (123.40 in the 2016 Premier League).

Chris Dobey
Chris Dobey, “Hollywood,” has steadily climbed the PDC ranks since winning his Tour Card at Q-School in 2015. A breakthrough came with a quarter-final run at the 2018 Players Championship Finals, followed by the 2019 PDC World Championship where he pushed Gary Anderson to a deciding set in a memorable last-16 clash, hitting 15 180s in defeat. Jonny Clayton
Jonny Clayton, “The Ferret,” turned professional in 2015 at the age of 40 and has since become one of the PDC’s most admired players, known for his clinical finishing and unflappable temperament. Early progress included a run to the final of the 2017 Players Championship Finals, but his career truly ignited with Wales’ 2020 World Cup of Darts triumph where he partnered Gerwyn Price. Nathan Aspinall
Nathan Aspinall, “The Asp,” has built a reputation as one of the PDC’s most resilient and exciting performers. He burst onto the scene with a semi-final run at the 2019 PDC World Championship before claiming his first major title at the UK Open the same year. In 2023, he added the prestigious World Matchplay crown, defeating Jonny Clayton 18–6 in the final. Gary Anderson
Gary Anderson, nicknamed “The Flying Scotsman,” is one of the most popular and naturally gifted players in darts history. A smooth, fluent thrower, Anderson has thrilled crowds for decades with his effortless scoring power. His career reached its peak with back-to-back PDC World Darts Championship titles in 2015 and 2016, defeating Phil Taylor and Adrian Lewis in successive finals. Stephen Bunting
Stephen Bunting, “The Bullet,” is a former BDO World Champion who has become a major force in the PDC. He lifted the BDO crown in 2014 before switching codes, later reaching the PDC World Championship semi-finals in 2021.
